A young Brisbane-bred drummer, Damian Costin had a dream to be part of the entertainment scene – a big part, as it turns out. Through hard work, grassroots experience and an insatiable hunger to make things happen – he turned the dream into a reality.
As the drummer for Motor Ace, Damian has performed alongside bands to the tune of the Foo Fighters and Oasis + recorded three albums + lived the dream, but after 8-action packed years it was time for the Artist to turn Executive – initially cutting his industry teeth with the Mushroom Group of Companies under some of the best in the business.
Having experienced both sides of the industry, Damian had a vision to rewrite and reimagine his own entity – and the 123 Agency was born. Designing a hybrid model of talent booking and management agency, where corporate and creative worlds collide. Where partnerships had meaning, and everyone reaped the rewards. Damian and his team would work with rising and established independent artists including Ella Hooper, The Veronicas, Kingswood and a host of other big-name acts.
During this period, he would also co-found Creative Entertainment Agency – which had forged partnerships with leading international entertainers and brands to the calibre of The Australian Grand Prix, A2 Milk, Kelly Rowland and MYER.
Seeking a new challenge, Damian was charged with creating and establishing Live Nation Special Events (LNSE). The aim was simple. Develop and deliver first class entertainment solutions for clients throughout Australasia. LNSE delivered end-to-end services connecting global, national and local entertainment opportunities to leading recording artists, comedians & celebrity talent.Clients included Coopers, the VRC, Always Live and many more.
Phil has 10 years of experience delivering exceptional music and entertainment programs for clients across Australia and the Pacific, most recently as Live Nation Australia Special Events Program Manager APAC. He is passionate about finding and booking the best local and international artists to meet the entertainment briefs of various events and festivals, from corporate functions, to marquee days.
Phil has a proven track record of managing key talent relationships, securing lucrative deals, boosting client objectives and ensuring guest satisfaction and is always on the lookout for new industry trends and opportunities to create innovative and exciting entertainment strategies.
